These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website, including paid access to serialized stories and limited Vault releases offered by Housekeeping Hotel (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Website or registering for paid access, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By using the Website or registering for paid access, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or access paid content.

2. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

4.1 Nature of Access

Housekeeping Hotel provides digital access to written stories and limited Vault releases. We do not sell physical goods. Access is granted through the Website for the duration and scope described at the time of registration or release.

4.2 Elsewhen (Stories)

Elsewhen is a serialized fantasy narrative published over time. Access to full stories is provided through the blog paywall. Story content may evolve, expand, or change as part of the ongoing narrative.

4.3 The Vault

The Vault offers time-limited access to select digital materials. Vault releases are available only during active release windows and are withdrawn afterward. Access to past Vault releases cannot be restored.

5. Permitted Use

Access to content is granted for personal, private use only.

You may:

  • Read and engage with story content

  • View or print Vault materials for personal use, where permitted

You may not:

  • Share, distribute, or reproduce content

  • Upload or publish content publicly

  • Use content for commercial purposes

  • Attempt to archive, scrape, or preserve withdrawn materials

All content remains the intellectual property of Housekeeping Hotel.

6. Payment & Refunds

Payments grant access to digital content and are final. Because access is provided immediately, no refunds or chargebacks are offered, except where required by law.

7. Use of the Website

You agree not to:

  • Copy or exploit Website content without permission

  • Use automated tools to access or extract content

  • Introduce malicious code or disrupt site functionality

  • Engage in unlawful or abusive behavior

8. Intellectual Property

All stories, characters, imagery, environments, and narrative elements on the Website are original works and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Housekeeping Hotel.

Content may be created using a hybrid creative process that includes AI-assisted tools as part of the workflow. All final selection, authorship, and narrative direction are human-directed.

9. Third-Party Services

The Website is hosted on Squarespace and uses third-party services for payments and analytics. We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third-party providers.

10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted access or specific outcomes from use of the content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Housekeeping Hotel is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Website.
